Default Hello from Austria

Hello!

I am Thomas from Austria/Europe, 28 years old, live with my girlfriend daniela, 2 cats and one dog in a nice house on the north side of the "neusiedler sea" 45km lowe of vienna.

i drive since januar 2009 a 4/2001 Lexus RX300 4WD with navigation and black leather

before, i have over 7 years a Lexus IS200 (yes 200, 2L R6 155hp) with DIY Turbochargerkit with 250hp and many many mods.

in december, i sold the car without the superchargerkit and many other parts in stock with bodykit.

in januar i see the rx300 in opal green, nice color and after few days was the RX mine.

175.000km, 2 previous owners, with the TTE 17" wheels and extra tinted rear windows. The RX is with navi, black leather, 4WD.

i looked 3 months for a RX300 or a GS430 S16, but in Austria are the Lexus cars very rare and expensive. And my girlfriend get a child in the summer we need space in the car. i think, the RX is a good solution.

The first pictures:

After 2 weeks i started with the service:
Change the defect "D" Lamp, change the front lights to Narva 4100k lights,
New Air filter from ACCEL

a little bit music with a pioneer class a amp and a Streetpower 12" woofer with a DIY remote control for the woofer

my cat "Jimmy" on the RX

i installed some LED lights, repair the air vent, he needs oil, changed the front tweeter of better tweeters from al old Philips system....

the exhaust is to quiet, and a friend an i istalled a IS200/300 middle section box, its a little bit better, but we install next week a pipe, i think its better

Next steps: ´99 front grill, moddet exhaust, maybe remove the small converters and install the TTE superchargerkit (Eaton M62) to official 248hp with 0,35bar boost.

this are my first DIY on my RX.

Yesterday becomes my RX a problem, with low throttle the engine bucking, with high throttle no problem. For 2 seconds comes the engine lamp. sametimes he running on normal idle with dropouts, sometimes normaly. Today i look the ignition coils, plugs and thottle Body. Have erveryone a idea to this problem?

Thanks!

greets

Tom

Hy!

I think, i have found the problem, maybe. I checked the throttle Body and i found a very strong ISV Part. i gives Brake-Cleaner in the hole in the TB and the part works after few turn normal. additional have i resetet the ECU.
The engine shifts softer, no bucking, no problems. I test this the next days and hope the problem is fixed and i think, the idle speed is stable

sorry for my bad english.

greets

Tom

Tom,

That's a good price compared to what we were offered in the United States, about $12000 to $13000 USD for the kit.

Today morning i got the price quote of TTE Super charger kit from Andreas Goergen
