Toyota/Lexus doesn't care what I think but for anyone that is considering a purchase, make sure you get this pedestrian feature.
Take a look at the German cars. Practically everything you take for granted for a "$70,000 car" is an optional add-on—even adaptive cruise control. Lexus stacks up really well.

When I was shopping for a bmw convertible a few years ago, I couldn’t find one with adaptive CC. Had to go without it. In order to get it on my Mercedes, I had to special order the car. However, there is no subscription for traffic jam assist. It’s included for the life of the car.
Maybe the Germans think they are more driver’s cars.

You can add an aftermarket system. OEM system would be nearly impossible.

Hopefully, this is due to the recent trends of stealing cars by simply tapping into the headlight wiring harness and hooking up a device that allowed anything to trigger the car to unlock and start.
This is actually very good news in my opinion, meaning that it couldn't be done on our RX's.

To the OP, did you ever install an aftermarket 360 system? If so, which kit did you use, and how is it?

This would certainly be a step in the WRONG direction!

Combine that with a few other bad decisions, like informatics, and even Toyota is sliding in the wrong direction. I come from a 2013 GS, and while I see much improvement in some areas, like safety systems, other things have turned out to be big disappointments. I have a Carista ODB reader from about 10 years ago which was fine with the GS. Haven’t yet tried to hook it up too my 2025 RX450h+. Got my fingers crossed.

As to the 360 camera, all the cameras and sensors, and their integration, are very well done. I wouldn’t even consider getting an RX without all of them.
