Default TPMS Malfunction error

Hi, My RX 350 suddenly threw a TPMS warning on the cluster this weekend. It’s been a few days since switching from my winter tires, mounted in separate rims (with sensors too), over to my summer tires on OEM rims.

I checked all pressures and they were good. When I tried to reset the TPMS system from the vehicle setting it was displaying a TPMS Malfunction error, contact the dealer. Any idea what might be causing that?

This is a 2023 RX 350 with just under 30,000 kms. Prior to switching over the tires, there was no issue with the TPMS system.

Lexus really needs to go back to an indirect TPM system. You lose individual pressure numbers but gain so much more dependability while saving $500 to replace all the sensors after 10-12 years.
