I had a very WEIRD experience in my 2024 RX350h today.
With the falling temperatures, I often check my tire pressure as I pull away from my house and I'll stop at a Mavis tire shop near my house to add air if they're too low. Today, however, the section where the tire pressure is normally located was....missing!?! All I saw were Drive Modes - Sport, Normal, Eco, Custom. I backed out of the section in the infotainment center and just couldn't find the section containing the psi for the tires. At the stop light I then noticed that the clock in the vehicle reported the time as 12:50. I'm in the Eastern Time Zone and was headed out to pick up dinner. It was NOT 12:50. I did some digging and for some reason my vehicle was on HAWAIIAN time! So, I changed my time BACK to EST.
I then noticed that I was showing up as "Guest" in the area where my name usually appears. I dug a bit more and found that I was "signed out." Also, my phone was disconnected. Android Auto was not connected, so my navigation was also off.
At the next stop light, on a whim, I shut off my vehicle and then restarted it. Voilà! Everything came back "online." I was signed in, my phone was connected, the section where the psi was returned, and all was right with the world again!
I'm just writing to see if anyone else has experienced this or anything like it?
I haven’t experienced this issue before. If turning the RX off and restarting it resolves the problem, next time you can try pressing and holding the volume **** 3+ seconds. This will reboot the infotainment system without turning the vehicle off and on.

Good to know about the 3 second rule.
Any idea if it "resets" the infotainment system? One thing I DON'T want to do is have all my settings like my login, pre-set stations, phone connection, etc. wiped out...

I haven't tried it yet, but I think it will not reset any settings. On 2026 rx350h's multimedia owner's manual, page 15. It says "Restarting the system: When the system response is extremely slow, you can restart the system. Press and hold the [VOL] **** for at least 3 seconds."

Cool. Thanks for the tip. I might try that next time. (Hopefully there isn't a "next time" but still, it's good to be prepared).
most of the time holding the volume and rebooting fixes nothing .
you often have to wait for the car to reset which can take some time . maybe 20 minutes or so
Holding down the volume button for three seconds just reboots the system and keeps all your settings. We both have to do this maybe 5% of the time if we don't connect to Android Auto. One time my wife's NX 2023 had the Hawaiian time thing. Might have been Hawaiian time but not their temperature.
