Google Maps does now project turn by turn into

When I run Google Maps, it doesn't display "turn-by-turn" on my HUD. Do you have to do something in Google Map settings to make it display?

Dude is British. I don't trust any British reviewers - especially when it comes to cars. Those people can't even drive on the RIGHT side of the road for God's sake!

The Uniden R8 only detects radar. Unfortunately, a large number of traffic enforcement units now primarily use LASER to determine speed. Short of spending thousands of dollars for a Lidar (LASER) speed detection system, there's really no good detector any more. I'll stick with Waze.

my detector has not hit laser since i own it , but it certainly has saved me from ka band many times as well as speed cams in areas i am unfamiliar with .

here in nyc we have speed cams everywhere

I just used Google Maps yesterday in my 2026 and it definitely showed turn by turn in my HUD. Didn’t do anything in Google Maps and yesterday was the first time it had been used in that vehicle.
