My Android connects as the Infotainment system does its "boot-up." I just press the Android Auto icon, tap the address and it sends me on my way. Never had any problems with it. Am I missing something that would simplify or improve the tasks? (I am Technologically Challenged)

My original problem was the RX would not beep when locking/unlocking the doors. After rat damage repair including computer replacement, I had trouble with the app. Appears to be caused by app being down. After a few days the dealer told me the app was back up. I continued to have problems. Waited a few more days and decided to reload the app. It now works, but slow. My Iphone12 is running IOS 26.0.1. I wonder if that could be part of the problem.

Final fix. After multiple visits to the dealer and rat damage repair/computer replacement. App would not lock/unlock the doors even when the app was back up. Tech rep went back to the service mechanic that did the repair and corrected the settings. All now works.
