Lexus just posted the updates for the '26 TX which are minor. Since Canada already is showing the '26 NX, that just leaves the RX which I am guessing they may provide any updates sooner than later.

Nice! You are now in IN but used to live in Raleigh? I'm planning on buying from Johnson Lexus for a new RX350h but am uncertain on when to pull the trigger.

The press release is out: https://pressroom.lexus.com/2026-lex...ing-the-range/
  • Premium grade added for RX 450h+ model
  • Appearance Package now available for F SPORT Handling and F SPORT Performance grades
  • Wireless charger now standard on all models
Appearance Package
Based on the 2025 Black Line Special Edition package, this year’s Appearance Package is available on F SPORT Handling and F SPORT Performance grades. Outside, the package is available with five exterior colors including UItra White, Cloudburst Gray, Iridium, Incognito, and Caviar. Further elements include black exterior styling touches, and 21-inch split-five-spoke wheels with a black finish and orange brake calipers. Inside, the Appearance Package’s sporty look is completed with a black interior accented with gray stitching throughout.

I think it’s nice that even the base model will have that low power, crappy wireless charger now.

Default If you have bought or reserved a 2026 RXh, how did you navigate all of the choice?

Just curious for all who have purchased or reserved a 2026 RX hybrid, what did you end up with and how did you make your choice? I looked at a RX350h f sport performance, and the 500h, and compared them for some time. I just ordered the 500h. Ultimately, I found the fully loaded 350h was approaching the cost of the 500h and I thought the 500h might have better resale value. I am having a hard time saying good bye to my 2015 V6 400h! It is a wonderful SUV. What is your experience so far if you have a new 2026 RX hybrid? All thoughts appreciated before I purchase the one I just ordered!

It's anyone's guess. I would think the 500h would be last on the list due to trans issues but those that want more performance may still prefer it.

My research has only revealed compliments for the transmission on the new 500h.

They had widespread issues in 23 and 24 but hopefully resolved by now. Some said it was a design flaw but I'm no mechanic nor engineer. Ten page thread on 500h trans issues in the Hybrid section.

Gotcha. I thought I read that 2025 was better somehow and would have thought 2026 or the 4th year cycle would be better.

Unless there are substantial design flaws, mechanical and/or computer software, subsequent year productions tend to have less "teething issues."

I hope this is the case. A nice, new 500h F Sport is at the top of my list when its time for a new RX. 🙂

Are you saying that you were able to order one to your spec? I'm led to believe (by multiple dealers) that a dealer is not able to order individual vehicles for individual customers.
