I have a 2024 RX350H Luxury, and when driving I hear a slight buzz at the left driver door. It sounds a lot like what I heard on my Toyota Avalon which ended up being one of the screws that held on the door speaker loosened up. Once I removed the cover, I could tighten the securing screw. I'd like to check the same on my Lexus. Anybody know how to remove the cover? Can I just pry it off, or does the door cover need to be removed to get access to the speaker?
I doubt that the the entire door panel would need to be removed. I would think that speaker cover simply clips into place as it does on the NX ML door speakers. I would try to gently use a plastic pry tool and get under the edge and pop it off.
The video shows the door panel being removed to access things other than the ML speakers but if you do have to do that to access the speakers it's a bad design IMO as on the NX the ML speaker housings simply unclip in literally 10 seconds giving full access to everything speaker related.
Helpful picture. I see the two screws, but I also see two alignment pins and three snap tabs. Perhaps the two screws are holding the piece that the alignment pins and snaps contact, and the snaps/alignment tabs hold the speaker cover in place.

Reason: Clarity
I agree on the "good design" principle, but you never know. When you unclipped the cover on the NX, did you start at a particular corner with a plastic pry tool?

No particular corner. There are clips going all the way around. Just start at any corner with the tool and pry up and it will pop up and then you can get a finger underneath and pop it off easily. The ML speakers are attached to the trim piece that comes off as opposed to the speakers being attached to the actual door panel.
