Default Plug-in connector removal

Hi, I have a Plug-in hyrid Rx and I usually charge in my garage. When the charging is done or during charging, I can pull out the connector and terminate the charging. I had a recent dead battery and afterward, I am unable to do that with out double click my unlock button on the fob. Is there an option to change that while the car is not lock, it will not lock the charging connector?
Thanks.

Yes, there is. Go to your vehicle settings in the infotainment display and change it back. This has happened to me too, when I was diddling with the 12v aux battery.
