but rather than try again, I’m actually going to use this existing screen protector to create a stencil for matte PPF. This existing screen protector has gaps around the ***** that bother me, so I’m just gonna cut out a piece of PPF to use as a screen protector that closes those gaps.

Yeah I didn't love the fit. I threw my first one in the trash and left a bad review. The vendor sent me a second one for free, and I made sure that was lined up on the edges. Now the gaps around the ***** are super crooked, but no bubbles.
I asked my installer to put PPF on the screen and he said he'd do it if I insisted, but he didn't recommend it due to the adhesive strength. If it ever required removal, you'd pretty much be in for a new screen was his stance. I agreed and said forget it

thanks for the tip. Looks like I’ll just have to buy a screen protector made for large monitors and cut out a custom fit from that!

Do the colors match perfectly? In the pic the **** looks more white and that would drive me crazy. I would love to get a matching perfectly birch ****.
