2023 vs 2024
Its been a while to shop for vehicle and is there a big difference between 2023 and 2024 models?
I know that 2023 is first year being produced and wanted to know if there is any known issue with it.

The only change I am aware of is different clips for dash finisher trim, which can be retrofit on the 2023 model, anyway.

I like the full-screen instrument cluster on other brands (Volvo does a decent one. So does BMW). But the Lexus implementation is disappointing. They didn't really add any features despite having more screen real estate. Technically you can put a map in the screen, but it only occupies a very small square in the middle so it isn't very useful. Also, it doesn't show the CarPlay map or navigation route there, at all. Compared to other brands it looks downright ancient. I wouldn't avoid a MY25 but I also don't think it's a compelling upgrade over the two previous years.

I don't what happened after the late 90s.
When they started out, Lexus had to make a reputation for themselves. They did that. Now they seem to be in a new era of cost-cutting and streamlining with Toyota processes/logistics to improve margin. I certainly don't think the "quality" of the current offerings are living up to their reputation.
100% agree when you look at say Audi virtual cockpit they had in 2016 it's more advanced. I just don't get it bc if you remember the first LS it had MID that was way beyond it time and stood out. Also I had 98 GS with Indigo MID which stood out as well.

The new Audi E-Tron Q6 of my colleague has been at the dealership for one month. It suffered a total failure due to various software and sensor issues. During a software update, there was a complete breakdown, and now the vehicle is out of service
