Your notice 12inch MID, it s the same as what's on Prem+, Lux, Fsport now just on regular prem based pkg. There pics posted showing prem with display and no writing on steering wheel buttons and is same display found on higher pkg models. I guess it be strange without HID.
I guess what they meant for 2025 was now that every trim would get 12inch MID display, I guess they measure it from start to finish to get 12inch
What was confusing me is referring to the Nav screen as a MID. I went huh?

In the past the MID ( multi-function information display) was the display in the dash cluster.

Is the nav screen now called a MID?

At any rate making one screen for all trims makes sense and should be standard on every Lexus.

No, MID refers to speedometer dash. As you can see now it much more customizable, and you can bring in the map from NAV to right into speedometer.

Negative, no current RX 2023 - 2024 doesn't have this in any trim , it will be on every RX model in 2025. These are only 2 views, you can do multiple of different screens which is cool, along with customizations as well,

Oh, I thought earlier in this thread there was mention of someone's friend 2024 having this in one of the lower trim levels. I must have misunderstood.

I hope Lexus doesn't make the same mistake as BMW. That is once the BMW cluster was software-defined, marketing/developers went nuts constantly changing displays on a whim to the point many displays were confusing and cheapened the look of the car.

I had been on fence about current Hybrid set up due to noise and not so fun way the power is delivered, but this is making me glad I leased and can get this next time around maybe.

Also thinking about gauge display going from 9” to 12.3”, can be totally off but could it be that there advising as if you get base models you get the different MID, maybe they are advising that now in base model RX you will not get the same screen in which is in on high end trims and there measuring screen size different way then we are thinking? Only say this because they keep saying across all models now.. Again could be totally off, and hope I am as it about time they give us more then boring screen.
One of the great things about Toyota hybrids is that they seem to last forever, disproving concerns, years ago, that battery life would be limited and replacement costs high. Will going to Lithium-ion change that? There's a 16 year old Prius in my building's garage that's all original. Will we see 16 year old all-original Lithium-ion Toyota hybrids?

Lithium-ion will for sure last longer then Nimh and how much more power/energy storage then Nimh battery. They also charge much quicker and are very much lighter/smaller then Nimh.
The 450H I believe has it already, I am really not sure why they didn't add it. It probably be in next refresh.

I say only negative is they are a lot more dangerous in regards to exploding..

Hi Club Lexus folks, my 1st post.
Maybe this info will be of help Bobolo. Just today I placed a deposit for a ‘25 RX450H+ so some are in the pipeline. It’s a Japan build, my sales person said her info indicated delivery at the DC area dealership Dec.30 to Jan. 21st. 2025. We wanted a specific ext./int. color combo (mica blue/macadamia) so maybe more common color combos are on dealership lots.

Thanks to all for the helpful info I’ve been reading.

Congrats you bought a great ride. On my fourth RX last three hybrids. Zero problems and loved them all.

Reference the 2025 model feature, Proactive Driving Assist (PDA). Is this will provide some form of auto-pilot driving?

No, it will slow down when traffic slows, but no auto pilot in Toyota.
Radar cruise control is the closest to semi automated driving. The car will maintain speed and gap and mostly will stay in lane. Driver must touch staging wheel at all times though.

I also put a deposit on a 2025 RX 450H+ cloudburst gray and peppercorn. Estimated delivery mid-December.
I am very excited, though I am not a huge fan of silver bumper, I prefer the body colored F-Sport version.
The dealer is researching the options to replace the bumper. The bumper could be painted or maybe I'll just get used to it.
I suspect it will go that way

Can you expand more on the different customizations that are available? I have searched the forums and YouTube and have not seen any tutorials that explain what is able to be customized.

Can Google Maps navigation be incorporated into the MID? I know that some others brands (Ford, GMC, Volvo, etc.) have this feature.

No, Lexus does not support this. It is a feature that I really liked on my BMW X5 test drive. I wish Lexus had it.
