They need some new exterior colors. Every year a manufacturer should drop the slowest selling 2 colors, and refresh the lineup with new choices.

Then no colors would exist. We’d be stuck with white, black, and shades of gray in between.

I guess what they meant for 2025 was now that every trim would get 12inch MID display, I guess they measure it from start to finish to get 12inch
It is going to be a bit strange with the models without the HUD, but can see it as streamlining all the models. Seems weird/lazy that it's already this late and they haven't updated the pictures to be more accurate, at least for that one. Have an expectation that the 12.3 MID is the same as the one in the TX. Would be surprised if it wasn't.

Also will shed some light for others looking at 2025 release timelines... Have a 2025 RX500H being built 11/11-11/17, and if it's anything like our NX with delivery times, expect it 1st to 2nd week of December from being transported from Cambridge. Was told I was the first on the list for a 2025 model (back in July) so kinda would expect 2025 models to start flowing in December, no surprise with their cadence. It's actually earlier than I originally thought since I was expecting something in Jan-Feb 2025 time frame, but location deliveries will probably vary.

The worst selling two dropped every year and replaced with two new ones - neither of which would be white/black/gray (since those would never be dropped as the slowest selling two). Plenty of other colors that could be introduced into the lineup. They just don't want to spend the $$$s to change the paint booths on the assembly line. So the colors never change now.

How do you know that the paint boot in the assembly line must change in order to paint different colors?

Yes, you are correct by that but I will take it!!!. Hey look we even saw them add Incognito, only took Lexus about 14 years to bring the color over!!This is somewhat progress, I have never seen them make change like this until a refresh. In looking in history, I don't think they ever changed the dash gauges before even in refresh. Also they added those nice wheels for the base model even during the end of 2024. What I find interesting is the base wheels and small digital dash were the two major complaints, so it seems Lexus is really listening.

I have early 2023, and I got say yes it has stupid little things but they did a good job for first generation brand new refresh. I do have that TSB/Recall for VVTI, but really that is it.

Toyota has announced moving to the NACS charger connector.

Does the 2025 RX 405H+ use NACS or J1772?

I actually prefer the 23/24 cluster over the TX model if that's what they changed to. Just my opinion.

The TX cluster while larger has plenty of blank real estate.

Agreed. That color has been overdone. It looks like high-gloss concrete.
