As I posted above, customcargrills makes a good product - they don't make a precut for the RX - but you can buy uncut material from them. The problem is templating the shape of the piece you need to cut to cover this opening, is that easy to do? Cab someone take a photo of the opening that needs to be covered?

I suspect the easiest way to do it well would be to pull the bumper cover. Should be fairly easy to do it then.

There is no damage to the front bumper, front grille, dealer says it was caused by a rock?!?
This grille with big holes is poorly designed and a clear flaw if what they are saying is true.... did not expect this.
Has anyone encountered this problem?
I had this exact thing happen to me yesterday. Got in my car and no AC. Took it straight to Lexus and I was told pretty much what you were told. My quote was 4400! My car has 6700 miles on it. I have zero damage on my car and he said a rock probably went straight through it. I am not sure what I am going to do but 4400 is absurd!

My AC stopped working on my new 2024 ES350 Ultra Luxury. Your post had me terrified I would hear "A rock hit it." I took it to a mechanic friend 1st and he examined and stated he saw no evidence of rock so it should be warranty. He also hooked his pressure hoses to it and it was empty of freon. I took to Lexus dealer and they were honest. All fixed under warranty. They replaced pressure sensor and I read in mechanic's notes something about line separation. They told me bill would have been 2k if vehicle was out of warranty. I bought it new 1 year ago and only have 12,000 miles on it. I baby the car and would have had hard time believing "rock hit it" story.

Took mine in with 6000 miles.
The service tech even said "If a rock hit the condensor or anything" even before saying anything about the warranty, you know this is occurring quite a lot.

this same thing just happened to me. 3k for the repair is bad enough but what prevents a repeat of this again and again?
