Default Washer Fluid usage

I typically use about 1-2 jugs of windshield washer fluid for the entire winter season with the 2016 RX. With the 24 RX so far I have used up 2 jugs plus what the dealer put in in less than 3 months. I wonder if the new windshield washer system on the wipers along with the rear camera washer uses that much more fluid or if I am doing something wrong?

Depending on your trim you may also have headlight washers, which will also use some fluid.

I find I do use them a little more because the rear camera in the RX is prone to getting so dirty it is unusable.

It still lasts for months, though, and it's inexpensive.

I needed to put in a GALLON of washer fluid after delivery! That said, the level is OK since (8 months) so there isn't a leak.

I believe all trims have it. They will only spray when the headlights are on though. They'll spray the first use then every fifth one after that.

I thought only the triple-beam headlights had the washers. Not certain though.

Looks like this is correct at least for 2024s. Hard to find good info on it.
