I have a 2023 RX350 AWD Luxury and last week had this waring start message pop-up while I was driving - "Door Open Switch Unavailable".

This is popping up while I am driving. No one is messing with any doors.

 

Is your hatch not shut all the way?

 

All doors were shut. The hatch is always shut by the button, I have not seen the hatch act as if it had issues shutting right.

I also used a loaner car today from the dealer - 2023 RX350 AWD and had the same issue. I informed the dealer and they said they had not seen that issue before.

 

The fact that two RXs you’ve driven have done it makes me think it’s something you’re doing. Maybe leaning a knee against the door open switch?

 

Mine does that when my knee hits the door switch.

 

I have never been one to bend or lean a knee on the door while I am driving.

 

‘If not then there might be a defective sensor. Can you duplicate at will? If so show the dealer.

 

I did let the dealer know and they are looking into it. I cannot duplicate it at will.
