Jump ship or not?
I've had 2 MDX and loved them both. in fact my daughter has my 2006 which was a great design at the time. Just had a friend buy a MDX Advance and it's a nice car, but I still like the RX better. RX is smaller and feels smaller inside which I prefer. I also no longer need a 3rd row but the MDX does have more storage behind the 2nd row if you need that. The V6 engine is nicer on the MDX IMO but even with a gas powered RX I'm getting way better gas mileage. I put a good amount of miles on my car per year and with the high gas prices, that was a big deal for me. I would have bought a RX Luxury trim hybrid if I had been able to wait for it earlier this year.
The game changing feature for me was the 14 inch upgraded infotainment system in the 2023 RX. It blows the MDX away. Yes, it could use some tweaks but sitting in my friend's 2023 MDX, I would be very frustrated spending $60K+ and getting that system.

We bought an RX 350 Premium+ in April that turned out to be lemon. I commented about this within another thread. It has to do with the CAM Phaser issue. It's been in the shop 43 days now and we are pursuing a buyback. We should be nearing the end of that process. They originally put us in a '22 loaner. Two days ago they called and said they needed the loaner back and were going to give us another loaner. They gave us a brand new '23 Luxury with only 24 miles on it. Setup? The dilemma we are having is whether to try negotiating with Lexus on another RX, or take the cash and buy an Acura MDX Advance. We love the look and ride of the RX, but don't want to go through this again. On the other hand, the MDX is a nice car and gives us a little more room inside, but we don't really need a third row. So far Lexus has been good about dealing with this. IF anyone with similar problems accepted a replacement, how has the new car worked out for you?
Today we finally completed the buyback process on our 2023 RX350, and it was quite the experience. With such low mileage Lexus waived the mileage charge, and gave us all our money back. We have decided to go with an Acura MDX Advance.
