Vibration on high speeds
Hello,
my 2024 RX350h have 8000 KM, Normally, I drive less in winter time. We have already rotated the tires, front with rear and I am noticing the vibration as I reach 120KM or above. The tires have 7mm threading left.
today I visited Costco and lowered the tire pressure from 36PSI to 33PSI.

A severe pothole could damage both tires on one side. BTDT.

If your RX is under warranty, could you ask your dealer if you could test-drive a different RX? If that one is OK, you may have proved something....
36 versus 33 should not make a difference. We run our RX's 21 inch tires at 38 F 34 R. Spec is 33 F 33 R.
120KPH is a typical beginning speed for balance or out-of-round issues to be noticeable.
If you are sensitive to steering, you might sense a defective (broken belt) tire at parking speeds.
Good luck!
Thank you Denzo, please note my 2024 Rx350h have vibration issues from 120km and above, my 19 inches tires were balanced three times, one time at Erin Park Lexus and two times at Don Valley North Lexus in the past two weeks. I was told that they have used road force tire balancing machines. As I checked my tire pressure is at 36 PSI in all 4 tires. Did you have tire balanced outside of Lexus dealership, please advise.

Question was: Did that change the symptom AT ALL? If you could detect any difference, it might be tires.

Are the tires wearing EVENLY? Measure with a depth gauge, or ask a tire store to show you their measurement.

To my knowledge, both Lexus dealerships (Erin Park and Don Valley North Lexus) claim they went through extensive checkup and re-done road force balancing. I can still feel vibration at 120 or above KM.
Do you believe I should speak to Michelin and see they will honor me the replacement tires.
I have purchased ECP with my Lexus and the car is under warranty.

Zahid
Thanks for your response. This morning I drove from Ottawa to Toronto, I noticed where the road conditions are not that great, I felt some vibration in my steering wheel and in other areas, ride is decent.
I am of the opinion that Don Valley North Lexus have fixed the vibration for Upto 120 to 125 KM, but not above that speed.

Just did a 420 mi trip in one full tank of gas (6.5 hr total round trip) and most of the ride was on the interstate. The whole day never felt this vibration other than road imperfections. We have the 21" wheels on a Goodyear tire (will replaced to Michelin when worn out). My only complaint is the loud engine noise in acceleration when we're used to the V6 of the 3rd gen.
Stop dealing with dealer. I had slight vibrations in my '24 RX 500H between 70-80 mph, dealer balanced twice, said balancing was perfect but it wasn't. Went to a performance shop that has a Hunter road force balancing with matching. If you want to have perfect and smooth driving, you need to have road force balancing with matching. It is expensive anywhere from $200-$300 but it's worth the money.
Do you recall which performance shop you have visited to get your tires re balanced. Please advise,
