Heading that direction myself; have around 9k miles now and dealer can't replicate sound on their ride-alongs. Even my wife says get rid of it, which is a significant data point in our household. Very disappointed in our first and likely last Lexus.

Stop dealing with dealer. I had slight vibrations in my '24 RX 500H between 70-80 mph, dealer balanced twice, said balancing was perfect but it wasn't. Went to a performance shop that has a Hunter road force balancing with matching. If you want to have perfect and smooth driving, you need to have road force balancing with matching. It is expensive anywhere from $200-$300 but it's worth the money.

For those stubborn vibrations at speed, it is Good Practice to check for a slightly bent wheel first.

ISTR the run-out spec for Hondas is only .004". Doesn't take much, and you can't always tell if you have pothole damage from the outside.

Default 2024 Lexus RX350 Luxury Humming Noise

Our 2024 RX350 Luxury makes the same humming noise starting at 60mph and brought it to 2 dealerships and have had no luck on figuring out the noise. If anyone has any idea on what it is I’d love to hear! Had entire car checked out, if problem is not resolved we will be getting rid of the car

That is something that you should've taken up with Lexus Corporate. As long as you had documentation from the dealers acknowledgement and inability to fix it then you went to have the wheels road force balanced and the issue went away... I would've tried anyhow.

Interesting - the one time I had a vibration issue that two different inde shops couldn't resolve, the dealer corrected it in roughly 30 minutes and yes it was with road force equipment - Hunter? I have no idea.

I get free tire rotations and balancing from my tire dealer (KalTire up here) and on a previous car we had this issue and they of course they tried to tell me it was mud on the rims, etc. but I took the shop foreman for a spin and within 2 minutes he said "Yup - tire balance issue). They balanced and rotated them and the problem was fixed.

Thank you Denzo, please note my 2024 Rx350h have vibration issues from 120km and above, my 19 inches tires were balanced three times, one time at Erin Park Lexus and two times at Don Valley North Lexus in the past two weeks. I was told that they have used road force tire balancing machines. As I checked my tire pressure is at 36 PSI in all 4 tires. Did you have tire balanced outside of Lexus dealership, please advise.

Hello,
I have 2024 RX350h base model, it came with 19 inches Michelin tires. As of last month, I have tire vibration that starts at 120KM and onwards. My Lexus have tire balancing done one time at Erin Park dealership and twice at Don Valley North Lexus. The vibration still exists. Can you came of outside performance shop where you have done your tire balancing done. I have checked and my car pressure is 36 PSI.

Between us, both dealerships claim that they used road force balancing machines to balance my tires.

regards,

Our '23 is 'steady as she goes'.

My advice to those affected is to swap tires front to rear, see if that changes anything. If so, inspect the tires for out-of-round (like a broken tire belt).

If not, check lateral run-out. If bad, wheel bearings/hubs or CV joints can do it.

Binding brakes can heat up the rotors and cause shimmies.

These issues can be difficult to see with the car on a lift (off it's wheels).
