Does anyone know if the cigarette lighter in the trunk is constantly powered? We bought a car air purifier, and the instructions say "In vehicles that feature constantly powered outlets (typically in the back of the vehicle), the power adaptor should be unplugged when the vehicle is parked." Wondering if we should unplug it each time to make sure it does not drain the car's battery. (Would be much easier if we did not need to do this.)

 

Previous gen RX's all power outlets are off unless the car is running or at least turned to accessory. I would think the new gen would be the same.
