Can not connect car to app
‘I agree with the other poster and would be waiting at the door Monday morning and demanding it get fixed. I told my salesperson I did not want any time with the technology tech, that I wanted to figure things out myself, but he insisted on a few minutes to get me set up in the on board computer so that the app works perfectly.

First, Make sure your information in the Lexus app is correct. Profile at top right,>Account>personal details. Please make sure that you did not use a social media to register and if so, check the email and phone number are correct and not a "relay email". That will fail the connection almost every time.
After you have done this, log out of the app entirely, and then log in with your mobile number you registered with. You will then HAVE to go to your messages and opt in for messaging by typing the word YES. This will confirm your mobile number and then you are able to link your vehicle to your app. This step is very important to linking the vehicle, which is often missed by untrained Tech specialists or sales personnel.
Next, go back to account>security settings> Set PIN, and then create a PIN that you must remember.
Make sure you are not in a garage, open area with good cell reception when you first enroll the vehicle to your app.
Open your app on the phone in the vehicle. If you do not get a welcome screen, (Blue with WELCOME) tap the settings and you should see your profile name listed. Tap on it and it will ask for your PIN. Enter it and be patient. Then you should be able to follow the onscreen and app prompts to guide you from there.
Hope this helps!

Yes, when i do these steps, my profile does come to the car. My issue is the QR code. This doesn't work, and my app doesn't work.
Can you be more exact in this step: You will then HAVE to go to your messages and opt in for messaging by typing the word YES. This will confirm your mobile number and then you are able to link your vehicle to your app.

i can get the phone and car to sync up with my profile. the problem is the app doesn't sync with the QR Code.
Lexus has been trying to figure this out for a week. CRAZY!
Am I the only person who cannot connect the phone app to the car? Today marks two months of owning my car and Lexus still can't figure out the issue. The dealership even switched out the radio, which didn't work.
HELP!
HELP!
I would think the next thing to test would be a different phone.
