Obviously nobody knows for sure, and obviously it's wear/use/maintenance dependent but surely everyone's got an opinion, right?

longer than most people will keep the car - not because the car will have issues - but mainly most people will want an upgrade..
both my vehicles before the RX350 were from 2005 (RSX-S and IS300) - first owner on both. I didn't think much of it at the time - but after a few months of owning the RS350 - i wonder why i kept the cars i had for so long - only thing i came up with.. save money...
Still have the IS300 - and i am thinking about trading that in sooner than later even though it still runs like new..

My 2005 Toyota Camry has lasted 14 years and never had a issue. I am still driving it to work every day. There’s no reason my 2018 RX would last less than that time

Still driving my 2006 4Runner and had not seen a mechanic for repairs eversince. Yup, just change the oil and put on gas. Of course, I do all the "normal wear out" maintenance like, brake pads, wiper blades, oil filter, air filter, cabin filter, etc. And yes, if you don't plan on keeping a vehicle for more than 2~3 years, you'll save yourself a ton of money if you just lease. Or if you want to save more, as far as Toyota's are concern is to keep them for at least 10 years or more.

Change all of your fluids on time (oil, brake fluid and coolant). With the average vehicle driven 12,000 miles a year, fifteen years would be easily obtained.

We can't measure longevity the way we used to before this electronic mayhem appeared. That's the Achille's heel I have them spray Krown rust control yearly in the engine bay and on the underside just to stop corrosion on the wire heads, for if you get corrosion you'll get all kinds of gremlins in the elctrical/electronic system.

My previous car was an 11 yo Honda Accord (original owner) without all today's tech and still the radio started to act weird sometimes. Especially on cold days.

My 2017 RX350 will last 3 years. That's when the lease is up!

It was voted into the top SUV's to reach over 200k miles. Even though it is a Crossover, its like an SUV. Plus if you buy it L'Certified, you get an unlimited mile warranty anyways. That is for the remainder of the factory warranty and then an extra 2 years on top of that.
