Some function not working

"Waving your hand" is the problem in jcheng's situation. Simple hold your hand (or elbow) steady over the
top half of the Lexus Arrowhead Logo. When it chirps a second later move away. Waving about or holding
your hand vertically over both the top and bottom of the badge will not work.

alright got that to work too, I just put my hand half of the logo and it worked. I was wondering when using the phone to remote start the engine does the a/c weaker than not using the remote start? Just asking because I don't feel like my car inside super cold when I use the remote start. But when I manually start the engine I feel cold air blowing.

If you can waive you hand in front of the emblem why not just push the button.

Yes, but if you planned you could also have your FOB in your hands. Look at those where you have to wiggle your foot under the vehicle, not only you have to balance on one foot, but do so while your hands are full. However did we manage before?

Richard203 - are you using the Drive Mode "ECO"? Unlike "Sport", ECO stays on
after a restart and ECO diminishes the A/C output because the compressor takes
gas to run. ECO is nice in that it can improve MPG "up to 7%" but be aware of how
it works. Throttle tips in slower (needs to be pressed harder for same power), the
cruise control doesn't react to hills as forcefully or cause downshifts as often and
the HVAC output is lessened.
If you are using ECO try restoring Normal by pressing straight down on the Drive
Mode button and monitor your remote start results.
