2017 Lexus NX200t - The Trunk button won't work - beeps twice - does anyone know why? Yes I have the switch for the trunk ON.

Make sure your doors are unlocked first, so hit the unlock on the doors and try it. You can customize this feature, if you go to vehicle customization on the main screen, you can set for the doors to open either when you shift into park or when the driver side door is open.

 

This happened to me, too. I was used to my wife's 2010 RX350 where all you had to do was press the trunk button on the trunk lid. With the NX, you have to hold it in for a a couple of seconds. Hope this helps.

 

Try quickly pressing the unlock button than the lock button and repeat once more. So it should go unlock - lock - unlock - lock as quickly as you can. Than try the trunk button. Should do the trick.
