Hello folks,

I recently took delivery of my '17 RX350 F Sport, it's a great vehicle with a lot of improvement from last generation. I do have a question, does anybody know if the Life Traffic Info is available on the Navi map in Canada? I asked the delivery specialist and they told me only 2018 LC500 have life-traffic feature. Is that really the case? You opinions and inputs are highly appreciated.

That's correct. No live traffic via HD Radio in Canada for now. I believe that your delivery specialist was correct that the LC is the first to get it in Canada.

Yes, the newer model RX350's do not have live time traffic available in Canada. Lexus Canada is slowly rolling out Lexus Enform to all Canadian vehicles and vehicles equipped with this new technology (such as the 2018 LC and 2018 NX) will support live traffic. 2018 RX models may receive the new Lexus Enform when they arrive later in the year.

Thank you guys. Really appreciate your answers. Not sure why for the same car, US gets the feature but not in Canada. Same thing goes with my '17 911. Hopefully a software/map update in the future can bring this useful feature to us.

I think that the problem is not from the navigation system but due to the fact that they are not broadcasted on the (very low availability) HD radio. In Quebec there is only one station and it is experimental, and located in Montreal only.
