Bluetooth Streaming Cuts Out
I have attempted to search on this site for Bluetooth problems, but didn't see anything. I have an Apple 7+ iPhone & my '16 RX 450h has the premium audio system. I'm noticing the car screen at startup is often black & very laggy & turns purple before it is ready to display anything. I'm also noticing the music cuts out on EVERY song while streaming via Bluetooth! I had something similar wrong when I took delivery & the dealer said I needed a software update. This seems to be more like a hardware issue. Anyone else have this problem?

If your 7+ is an AT&T phone, they had a lot of problems with the BT causing it to cut out with other BT devices. My 7+ did the same and I had to get the phone replaced under warranty. I think only AT&T phones were having the problem. After the replacement I have not had a single problem.

So, did Apple replace your iPhone 7+ with a newer, updated model? Did AT&T replace your phone?
BTW, anyone notice attached links not showing in their e-mail notifications on this forum? It wasn't unto I went to Greg's forum post, that I saw the link he attached to the AT&T forum comments.

Apple replaced my phone after showing them a video of me using it in the vehicle. The geek told me that I was not the first that complained. My 7+ was only about 30 days old and the manager replaced it with a new in the retail box 7+ same color. I have not had the problem since.

Just yesterday, I had an incoming call, when I pushed the pick up button, my RX didn't pick up and it continued to ring. I recently updated my OS (Nexus 5) from 5.0 to 5.1. Used to work fine. I'm wondering if I should unpair/ re-pair my phone. With the new OS, my RX sees the phone thru bluetooth, and android auto fires up (as it should) when I start my car.

I will do that today & report back if it makes a difference or not. I do recall a few weeks ago that my phone suddenly wouldn't connect & I had to re-pair the phone. That's when I noticed the Bluetooth issue again. It started the first time shortly after delivery.

I experience the same cut-out issues, I have a Moto Z Force. I've repaired multiple times, still no change. Definitely a pet peeve of mine, in addition to the fact the USB charging & audio playback cannot be accommodated with the Moto. I'll be getting an iPhone since most users have no problems with BT connectivity, and I can charge and listen to Spotify at the same time

Well, last weekend, I deleted my iPhone from the Lexus & deleted the Lexus from my iPhone Bluetooth menu. I also updated to iOS 11 (now iOS 11.0.1). I then repaired my iPhone with the Lexus. I wanted to give it some time to be sure, but I’m not hearing anymore Bluetooth dropouts...so far. I say that with caution as this is now the 2nd time I’ve had this issue.
