Power rear seats

I can only speak from the standard, manual rear seats. They recline, center seatback can be folded individually, and the seats can move forwards and backwards. There are also two levers in the cargo area to pull that fold down the seats.
To me, the power function isn't really worth it...

It is not a must but it works quite well and is quick after you press the button. It would not be a deal breaker for me but it is pretty nice when you are trying to get something in the cargo area and you need that extra room quickly.

Aren't heated and ventilated front seats included with that option? Or can you get them in a different package/option? For that reason alone the power rear seat option would be worth it, especially since it adds heat to the rears as well.

You can get just heated/ventilated front seats as an option.

Does anyone know for a fact that if the seat motor fails, whether the seats can be folded down manually? Often, we all get additional options that we really don't need/want but it's on the car we get, but I'd rather not get this option if a motor failure after warranty requires an expensive repair.

On the other hand, I'd guess it's the same motors used for front seats, and I wonder what's the failure rate for these? Probably not that bad?…

From my past RX and current NX experience, the manual folding rear seats rattle (worse on the RX due to the fore/aft slide) with the manual springs and levers partially contributing. No idea on the rattle-free nature of the 4RX's manual rear seats, but I'd seriously consider the power folding rear seats and take my chances on this mechanism.

I must admit, having the car for a while, I never even use the rear manual seat buttons to go up/down.
