Well, this thread is to document and share all my ‘mods’ I made to this vehicle, big or small.

I’ll try my best to upload the mods in chronological order.

Feel free to ask any questions or give your opinions (good or bad)!

Picked up this 2017 with 28k on the dash for $41k on Aug 15, 2022.

I made sure it had AWD, pano roof, and LED lighting package!

 

Can’t drive a car without any type of surveillance!

Transferred my dashcam from my old vehicle to the RX.

Properly hardwired and wire managed for that clean OEM like look. I HATE dangling, loose wires.

Honestly, I rely heavily on a radar detector whether I’m going slow or fast.. just being aware of my surroundings!

Wanted some chrome accents on the door handles so I found some JDM OEM pieces.

JDM means that it is sold in the Japan market, so I had to get these imported.

We all know how dark the cubby can get during the day, especially at night.

So I did a little mod to add a light. Turns on when car is on and off when car is off. And no, it doesn’t dim at all.

Never liked black mirrors on a car (unless it’s a black car), so I bought some new color-keyed mirror covers.

Got an OEM **** with stitching (from another Lexus model) to flow with the boot.

Coming from an Hybrid base RX I was surprised to see the F-Sport scuff plates did not light up. Would definitely like to do this mod someday. Can I ask how much these set you back and what the install process was like?
