Front Cup holder issue
Purchased a 2020 RX 450h recently. The deep cup holder in the front is stuck pushed down. I clicked on the button and it won’t back up. Had to use a dent pull to pull it up very hard while holding the button. However, if I push the cup holder down, it would get stuck again. Anyone experiencing the same issue? How do I fix this, maybe without taking the whole thing out of the center console?

My guess is that some sticky (sugary) drink spilled and is on all the moving parts.
The easiest thing works be too take it out and wash it.
I don't think you can get to the internal moving parts without removing it.
