Default 2018 rx350 oil leak????

Long time member but strayed away from lexus for a little while and now I'm back. So we had purchased this 2018 rx350 about a few months ago. And now I notice there is a oil under a part of the car. Is this the transmission? Or the differential? I am so nervous. I came back k to Lexus because of the amazing reliability I had with my old gs350. Several mercedes and bmws later. Here I am again. I tried to take as good pictures as I could. Has anyone seen this before?

That looks like a leak from the transfer case. Have your dealer check it out before you run out of fluid.

Default Lexus rx350

Going to do that this week. Thanks. What are the intervals for that fluid? As well and transmission and differential?

I did the Rear Diff and Transfer case at 30k, and will do drain and fill 1x on Transmission at 50k. Check out Car Care Nut on YouTube. He is a tech and these are his recommendations vs service manual (never believe in Lifetime ATF) Those numbers are in miles....I see that you are in Canada.

Best thing to do is every 40-50Km the 1st change is the most important as it contains most of the impurities, for the ATF same schedule, but if you have more than
80K Km on it Drop & Fill (several) may be a more prudent approach.

It shouldn't leak, but since you bought it 2nd hand, what do you know of the previous owner's problems/maintenance if any?
It's hard to reverse solving problems of a previous owner unless resolved by a Lexus dealer and on record in their computer.

I took to a local lexus mechanic today and he says he thinks it's rear main seal. How could that be so early. I have appointment with lexus next week.

A rear main in a 2018? Doesn't seem likely to me.

Car care nut was discussing rear main leaks on the 3.5 V6 motors and says sometimes it’s actually the retainer/housing which the seal is pressed into and bolts to the rear of the engine, I think it’s got FIPG for sealant between it and the blocks rear face.
