What a coincidence; I was about to post about the same thing. I've only looked into it a little bit. It appears that the brake pedal is just a pad. The appears to be a bit more involved, though not difficult, depending on the FRU that can be purchased. Attached are some excerpts from the 2020 repair manual. I hope someone responds to your post with real experience.

Do you have part numbers for the brake and accelerator pedals? The dead pedal is of less interest, as my OEM all-weather mats cover it.

Dumb question for existing F-sport drivers: How do you like the feel of your brake and accelerator pedals? Are they as comfortable as standard pedals? I like the look of the aluminum, but this sort of mod is something only the driver sees, and even then only when entering the vehicle, not while driving. Still worth doing for me @ ~$160, if comfort and feel is not compromised.

Having only driven F-Sports for the past 6 years, I never think about the pedals. Probably there is some difference in the feel, compared to the base model pedals. I would say after a week of driving with the new pedals, you will be fully acclimated and won't notice anything different when you get in and go.

Our RX is not an FSport, our ES is. No difference to me other than cosmetic.

I honestly would just by the rubber covers and be done with it. Find a third party i doubt you feel any differance and its just for looks so just change out the rubbers on the brakes and gas and foot rest area

I installed the OEM F Sport accelerator and brake pedals today on my 2020 base RX. They were purchased from mylparts.com and the total was $160, including shipping. The installation of the accelerator pedal is trivially easy; pop the bolt cover off, remove the two 10mm bolts, and remove the accelerator pedal. Reverse the steps to install the new one. The pedal slides on a bar attached to the accelerator assembly in the dash. Surprisingly, there is no restraint whatsoever on the end of the bar. The middle photo shows the bar and bare brake pedal.

The brake pedal cover was another story. It probably took me an hour to wrestle it on the metal pedal. I finally put it in a warm oven to make the rubber more pliable, and put Windex on the pedal for lubrication. Even with that it was a fight to get on.

I like the look a lot. Granted, I'm the only one that can see them, as the driver, and then only for the 3 seconds it takes to get in the car. It's my car, though, and my 3 seconds! The surprise was they shipped with an extra 15hp and ceramic brakes, so my 0-60 time dropped .5 sec and stopping distance dropped 20 feet!
