I was wondering, I didn't have the time to sit there to see if they went off or not but I have three little utility lights with rocker switches in the back of the cargo area; 1 on the hatch, and one on either side of the cargo area. Do you know if when you turn these on do they time out after a few minutes after locking your car with the fob?

I own a 2021 RX450h F-Sport Series 3. Quick question...at times I have my hatchback open for long periods of time. The interior rear lights do not have a manual on/off switch. How do I turn these lights off so I don't run down my battery?

No not the ceiling light....the rear interior lights one on each side in the cargo area. They do not have a switch button I'm wondering if they will eventually turn off automatically?

 

Primolexus...following info from page 531 of the 2018 RX manual. The 2nd bullet i beleive answers your question.From page 531 of the 2018 RX Manual:

• Illuminated entry system: The lights automatically turn on/off according to power switchmode, the presence of the electronic key, whether the doors are locked/unlocked, andwhether the doors are opened/closed.
• If the interior lights remain on when the power switch is turned off, the lights will go offautomatically after 20 minutes.

In the following cases, the interior lights and front personal lights may not respond as normal.• When water, dirt, etc., have adhered to the lens surface
• When operated with a wet hand
• When wearing gloves, etc.
