Warning chime sounded whils driving today but no light, no message, no nuttin’. Not the 37 degree chime either. Any ideas what that is?

 

I feel your pain! I just got a 2020 loaner & the @$*% thing kept dinging with no message. After about 30 minutes of annoying driving, I discovered it’s a speed warning! When it goes off, there will be a little speed sign in the middle of the dash. If you go over that speed on that little sign, it dings. It’s also not correct a lot! I’m going to go figure out how to turn that stupid crap off in a little while.

 

You can turn off the notification completely or just the chime, leaving the visual indicator. The setting is in the MID. The visual indicator is a thin, one pixel red box around speed sign representation. Useless, unless you drive looking at the instruments all the time.

 

I dug around in the menus yesterday & turned the whole thing OFF! I can’t believe Lexus engineers spent brain power on something so stupid! Does anyone know how to change the default screen? I’m tired of the map displaying when I’m not using it & then it pops up exit information instead of my radio information
