WARNING: Do not buy this car, seller has rigged the mileage!!
Sup guys,
Last week my dad was browsing around craigslist and found this post: http://losangeles.craigslist.org/wst...913727974.html
The car looks great for the price and is pretty clean for a Black on Black SC3.
HERE IS WHERE THE SCAM STARTS:
Last monday I was looking at the post with my dad and the mileage was 197,000 miles. I know this because he wrote in the post it is 197,000 and he also included a picture of the odometer that read 197,XXX.
4 days later, my dad and I go back to the post to give the guy a call and whattya know, the mileage suddenly went down to 60,000 miles and he took off the odometer picture!
We called him today and confronted him, he claims: "Nonono sir, that was a different car and we messed up the mileage."
Me: "So what about the picture then?"
Seller: "That was tthe wrong picture"
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SCAMMER. Van nuys area is known for rolling back miles (trust me i've lived in LA area for 23 years I know what happens on these streets).

Hmm if you Google the number there's a lot of other cars with sale ads with the same phone number. It's either a small dealership or one guy who just buys cars and resells for a living. Good looking out and posting it on the forums though! If he really did roll back the mileage, i'm sure its not the only car he's tried it on.

I just saw some show on the news, where they busted this Armenian guy in the valley. He had car dealer after car dealer bringing car after car pull right into his driveway and he would roll back the miles. He had this little machine and he would make 500 bucks a car in a matter of minutes.
