Default RX 4th GEN High Mileage Experience

With the 4th Gen now six MY's old, curious to hear about high mileage experience and how your cars are holding up. My wife has a 17 purchased new now with 51K miles. pretty trouble free so far. Oil changes, filters, brakes all around and new tires at roughly 40K. Anyone beyond 100K yet?

I can’t comment on the high miles as I’m still at 38k on my 17 RX bought it with 23k miles on it roughly. I am curious as well. My dad’s 2010 RX is approaching 300k. Still runs quieter than my 17. Can’t even tell his RX is on sometimes and don’t have vibrations either. Can’t say the same about mine.

I sold my 2010 Rx at about 165,000 with virtually no repairs up to that point. I started then having some issues with rust, coolant leaks, etc. so I bailed on it. This was in a midwest, colder climate. That Rx was the most reliable car I had ever owned. I think the engine and transmission were still fine but when even minor problems can cost $1000+ to repair (if you can't do the work on your own) you reach a point where it just doesn't pay to keep a car longer.

My 2017 is only at 56k and have only changed tires at 42k, that's it... got everything ready for front and rear brakes at 60k and ATF fluid exchange, it's got very even front and back pad wear.
Maybe a new battery before next winter (car has been in service since December 2016)

My 2016 has 63k on the odo and I have serviced the car from the very beginning (minus the first free oil change). I've changed the ATF around 50k and oil every 10k. I have OEM brake pads ready to go whenever they need to be replaced. I've changed the brake fluid in the car twice.

Overall a very solid and reliable car. I've had the 12V battery replaced under warranty twice; Lexus USA batteries are not the best.

Hi,
I do have a 2011 RX 350 with 195,000 miles, so far runs well. I did all major maintenance at the Lexus dealership. My RX 350 is made in Canada, but since the summer of 2020 I noticed same of the 2020 and 2021 Lexus RX 350 are made in Japan. In 2-3 years I will purchase a new Lexus RX 350 that is made in Japan.

All RX in North America are made in Canada. The hybrid was originally made in Japan, but now all are assembled in Cambridge, Ontario; I've toured the plant. They will also be starting assembly of the next generation NX there when it's released in a separate plant on the same site.

I reached 1,000 on my 2021 rx350

i don’t drive that much a year only 5,000-6,000 miles a year
That’s not a lot but stop start city driving is tough on cars
plus cold Midwest weather etc

i hope I can reach 10 year - 60,000 miles without much repairs
(maybe 12)

I really hope I can get my money out of it
as this is the 1st brand new car I have purchased
