2020 RX 450H. Today I found that the ambient light sensor turns the head lights on automatically, and my Google Map on car play also periodically flips between day and night mode. If I switch the head lights off and back to AUTO it turns on after a while. This seems to suggest the light sensor has an issue. Any suggestions? Where is the sensor located? Maybe something is blocking it?

 

On my 2018 it appears that the two sensors in the corners of the windshield, on top of the dashboard, are for ambient light. So you don't want anything laying over them.

 

Thanks! Found it (looks like a button on the dashboard). Indeed my wife put a piece of paper on top of it.
