Default Sub function button

Page 15 of navigation manual

Sub function button
When double arrow is displayed on the screen, a function screen assigned to the screen can be displayed.

Thank you. But I don't get it. Can you give an example where this would be used?

If you have a list names etc or whatever that is longer than the screen can accommodate you use those buttons to move the lst/window up or down.

I still don't get it but will play around with it. It must be SOMETHING useful or they wouldn't have spent the money to have a hard wired button.

I'm with you - have that button on my ES and have never figured out how to make use of it. I gave up.

Let's say that you have a list of 50 names on your contacts or a list of hotels, restaurants etc but the screen can only display 25, this is when you will push the down arrow to display the additional ones or the up arrow to see the top if you are at the bottom of the list

Ah. Ok. I doubt I'll ever use it but thanks for helping me understand what it is.

Speaking of the touchpad, is there a way to change the cursor movement sensitivity? It moves too fast for someone trying to operate in a moving vehicle.
