Updates to 2021 lexus rx350?
Now back to the drawing board to see if that new color is good or will likely have to go with black. I actually hate color brown but with the stitching in the noble brown to me that was over the top
I haven't been able to find what I want for several months in Inventory. There are close here and there but never spot on. That's why I'm doing an order. It does seem good to get one off the lot and maybe get a better deal but I've been narrowing the search for a couple years and way too picky

wireless charger finally
"For the 2021 model year, the Lexus RX 450h adds Blind Spot Monitor (BSM) and Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA) as standard across all vehicle grades. Guests will also notice the addition of the standardization of power folding auto dim mirrors as they back up in the parking lot and navigate lane changes. With the addition of an optional wireless charger"

Man I’m in love with this combination! This reminds me of my 07 Tacoma TRD Sport’s speedway blue. Which just so happens to have been my favorite car of all time.
They did this back in 2015, it was called the crafted F line back then. It brought Tummi luggage, they were all white, with a special honey comb grille, black outside mirrors, handles, and wheels. The inside got black/red leather
That being said it’s not really special except for the color combo. When you go to sell it won’t be any more expensive, even though it’s a “special edition”. It’s especially a tough sell given it sounds like this body style might be on its last legs.
Now that logics our of the way man with that chrome delete, and everything blacked out!!!!!!! I have that little devil on my shoulder again.

Is the slow wireless charge rate just for Lexus or is it the same for all car manufacturers? Maybe it’s proprietary? or a higher rate would interfere with other electronics in a car? I personally don’t have it so these are just assumptions. It makes little sense for phone manufacturers like Apple to brag about how you need wireless charging and then car manufacturers use a lower charge rate so it has to be some other reason.
Maybe it’s a liability issue that car manufacturers don’t want to risk if a higher rate of transfer was used wirelessly and phone or battery catches on fire in a car and was blamed on car manufacturers.

That’s Toyota’s new thing with the bright colors. Make a few special edition bright colors and target younger crowds. They’ve been doing it for years with the 4Runner Taco and Tundra. One year it’s Calvary Blue, then voodoo blue, sunset orange, and army green. They sell way above sticker just because of the color. I personally love that combo of the blue and black but I admit it screams sporty not Luxurious which is the bread and butter.
Thats exactly what Toyota/Lexus is hoping that you’ll buy the dark blue RX/4 Runner but that your younger “sibling” will buy the cooler colored one and given the strong brand loyalty they’ll be in the Toyota family for the next couple of decades.
Thanks !
Hey Blayze1983 - If you have anymore details on that wireless charger please post.. Curious if it's slow due to the particular phone or other things or just a first time accessory that may not be great. I personally have never used wireless charging so I don't have much point of reference.
Thanks !
Thanks !
I'm guessing these wireless chargers just don't have much juice - wish I could tell you more, but I don't have that feature in my RX.
