finally thinking about getting 4th generation RX350
Finally decided to purchase 4th generation RX350 and wondering if there is anything I should look out for? I really want the F sport but due to high price, I was thinking about getting non F sport with Navi. Any pros and cons of having RX350? Thanks in advance.
I think if you browse through this site a bit, you'll find out everything you need to know.
I just joined the group last year while I searched for an RX.
I considered all black RXs with Navi and the 20" rims, that have low mileage and good in price.
I ended up with an 2017 RX450h with low mileage and good price.
The CVT on the 450h are pretty nice. I didnt think the HUD was going to be useful, but it was nice for long drives.

Let me help you out and spare you the research. Make sure you FULLY test drive any RX you plan to get. They are INFAMOUS for a droning noise from the exhaust at around 1500 RPM and the hesitation from the transmission. Those are the two major issues with the 4RX. The transmission is known to have hesitation until the TSB is performed so lookout for that. The 450 hybrid does not have the transmission issues so if you can, find a hybrid and see if you like how it drives. Many people say it drives better then the 350. I have an F sport, it’s a lot stiffer then the standard RX, but I love the way it drives and looks. I suggest you test drive both to make sure your happy with the ride. Some people don’t like it and want the RX because of the soft ride, which the f sport does not have. Also, make sure you request the car to come with Michelin tires. If it has Bridgestone’s make sure they switch them with another RX before you take it. The Bridgestone’s are hard as rocks, there is an entire thread dedicated to it. It was a night and day difference when I switched from the Bridgestone’s to the Michelins. I hated the car on the Bridgestone’s.

What DMPesso said.
I also love the looks and ride and firm suspension -- I kept the Bridgestones, for now, but I'll replace them with Michelins when they're done. The "drone" is just the the car body resonating when the 295 hp engine is pulling it at low RPMs. With the F-Sport, you can always paddle-shift down a gear if it bothers you (it doesn't bother me). If you're all about soft ride and silence, it's probably not the car for you.

And then get a RX450h instead, or set your expectations accordingly.
