Question 2020 RX - Map Screen Split

Happy New Year!

Question, as I can't figure this out. The 2020 Navi keeps reverting to full screen Map every time the car is started. I'd like to see it always as 2/3 Map, and right 1/3 Audio. No matter what I've tried, this does not stay put as it did in my 17 RX. Sometimes, it just keeps Map on the 2/3 side and Freeway Exit list nonsense on the right. It hates the Audio screen

The Navi has a mind of it's own and I don''t like it.

Our 2017 always stays the way it was at last shut down (and same on my ES). Perhaps they changed something for 2020?

To turn off the freeway exit list:
Setup>Navigation>Detailed Navi Settings>Automatic Freeway Exit List

To keep a split screen (I'm pretty sure):
Setup>General>Auto Change to Screen

Default nav question

On menu -go to navigation and on display set the screen split. Alternatively, use right hand side screen you can select nav/audio/climate...

It's there buried deep in navigational settings. I actually went over all options yesterday. The trigger for all of this is highway speed, it automatically goes to full map mode, sometimes with the Free Exit List, sometimes without it, and the culprit is in fact the Freeway Exit List option, which is the glitch. I disabled it and so far so good.

Go to Settings, General, there are more option below Vehicle, just keep trying to scroll down, be persistent, now you will get more options, select Navigation, Detailed Navi Settings, and finally turn this off Automatic Free Exit List.

I have a 2016 and had the same problem with the highway exit popping up. I looked all over for it in my driveway. With no luck.

You need to be going down the highway to get access to the menu to change the settings.

Let me be sure I understand. Lexus wants you scrolling through setup menus while driving on a highway?

I don't know about driving. But on the 2016 you need to be on the highway to select the icons.

On the lower left side of the screen. Click on the 3 line Icon above the Plus and Negative Icons.

The Freeway Exit List will be ungrayed out. If you have a destination set up. The turn and Intersection will also be ungrayed out.

I posted the correct solution for 2020+ RXs, which have a DIFFERENT navigation/menu than the years before. I also mentioned that I've had a 17 RX.

WHILE PARKED: Go to Menu, Settings, General, there are more option below Vehicle, just keep trying to scroll down, be persistent, now you will get more options, select Navigation, Detailed Navi Settings, and finally turn this off: Automatic Free Exit List.
