One of the two button to select which mirror to adjust is lit, click on the one lit so that none of the two are lit, it will disable the auto backup position.
On my NX300, the mirrors do not tilt when the right-side/left-side adjustment switch on the door is left in the middle position. I think the RX works the same way.
