Default New Lexus Remote App

The app to access remote start has been replaced. The old one may no longer function at some point. Question - I downloaded the new app but cant figure out how to change vehicles. The old app option was "Manage Vehicles" and the VINs registered can be selected there. Anyone have any experience with the new app in this regard?

Android has a My Garage, has my car there as before, and also an Add Vehicle Button if you need it. So far no issues except you can't add the mobile phone in the app, had to do it on the website. Also no fingerprint sign-in option.

Yes - in the My Garage, I can see my wifes RX. When I try to add my ES, it says its already there yet theres no way to select it.

android has the fingerprint, s9 android 9
i can't see how to change notifications of things, like sunroof open, doors unlocked. the old remote app had a lot of these options it would notify you about if you chose.

Thanks-now I see the Fingerprint option, lower left. (Android 10 Pixel2) Agree, the detail is gone for alert options.

I'm leaving the older app on and active until the new one seems sorted out. I left the car unlocked, got an email but no push notification, locked it from the app. Several minutes later opened the car and left it unlocked as a test. No push or email on the second test. The new app is certainly not what I would have expected. No improvements, poor graphics, less functionality. Also new app 157 MB, old 29 MB.

Default Works in my Lexus Vehicles

Lexus Enform app works fine in my 2018, 2017, and 2015 Lexus vehicles like they have been since purchasing each vehicle new.

Are you referring to the new app? It's just called "Lexus" now on Google Play Store. The old Enform Remote app gives me a pop-up if I open it, saying it soon will not be supported and to download the new one. Agreed the old one works fine. The new one is less versatile.

So far I'm not impressed with the new app myself. I also left it unlocked intentionally, I got a notification from the Enform app but the new app sent me nothing. Crickets. I checked the settings, all its fine. The new app works, it's just not as detailed as the old. I can't see my trip odometers, for example, and I prefer the visual "green" that my car is secure vs going to that 2nd page and reading down the list. I'm not sure why they are changing it. I could also not find a watch companion app for the new one either, so until enform just stops working, I'm going to use it. I have the new one installed as a backup. My wife frequently forgets to lock her car and this app is her saving grace. She needs that reminder, and until they fix that, I've told her just to stay on her existing app.

The good thing about the new app is you don't need to key in a PIN every time you take a breath of air.

I had to call Lexus because my old app wasn’t working anymore. They must have done something to my account because it wouldn’t work on either the new app or the old one. They had to rebuild my account and apply it to the new app. The new app works but now my old one doesn’t.

I don’t like how the notifications aren’t customizable. We don’t lock the car in the garage so to turn off the notifications for the door locks also turns off the notifications for open windows, moonroof and hatch. They need to make it more customizable like the old app.

Another weird thing is my 2019 Camry is now showing up in the Lexus app. The one feature I do like on the Lexus app on my Camry is that it shows the TPMS pressures. My Lexus doesn’t show it. It’s very strange.

Same thing here. First our Tacoma showed up on my Lexus app, I somehow got rid of it, now the RX is on booth the Lexus and Toyota app. Very confusing.

Same thing here. My husband’s Tacoma showed up on my Lexus app. I somehow got the RX back. Now the RX is on both the Lexus and Toyota app. Very confusing.
