Default Problems with ML audio in new car

I just bought a new 2019 RX450h F Sport. Hooked up my Iphone to the bluetooth and it worked fine playing music. I hooked up my wife's Iphone and it only plays on the left side of the car. Tried multiple fixes without getting anywhere. Anyone having this issue? Thanks.

Sounds like it your wife's iPhone. Is it streamed music or ripped? Can you try her iPhone on home theater or PC or iPAD?

It's through her Apple music on her Iphone. When she gets home I will try using it other ways. Thanks.

Just an aside to your problem - don't use Bluetooth for your connection, the quality is garbage, use the USB connection or even AUX in, far better sound using those.

Totally agree with this. I played with the Bluetooth and always seemed to get "skipping" or some non-continuous stream issues. Never looked into that because i decided i didn't need it anyway. i bought a 64gig flash drive, (< $20), with the really small handle so it fits nicely into the usb port in the center compartment and barely sticks out of the outlet so there isn't any risk of physical interference. i then ripped 50 albums using mp3 320 kbps, (which is very high quality). I think i still have 50 gig left. And you just leave it there. AND IT SOUNDS GREAT!

Go into your iPhone settings under general then accessibility and make sure that the volume balance is in the middle, about 3/4 down the page right above the hearing aid compatibility setting. Also make sure that the mono audio is disabled
