Any RX Owners have an unfortunate incident such as this? Obviously, there is no way to Ballpark a figure on it - but one Shop said $1000 would make it look like it never happened. IMHO - this far exceeds 1K for a total repair - thus why I was taking a shot to see if anyone else had somewhat similar damage?
Also, if repaired by an "External" Resource, would the Dealership still be able to pull said damage into their systems? Still trying to decide if making a Claim on it all.

Sounds about right. They have to paint 3 panels. Even if it was just one door, they would have the blend the panels around it too. When it was really rainy one day my girlfriend opened her door and the wind blew the door open and it hit the bumper of a parked car. Nothing happened to the parked car but my car had a crack in the paint. It was right under the door handle about an inch long and the shop quoted me around 750 because they have to blend the back door to match the front door. My mdx also has pearl paint on it so there’s that too. Costs more.
