has anybody used the audio gain controls in the android box settings menu? ... i went +3 on overall volume, treb, mid, bass +7, +5, +7. It sounds remarkably louder and fuller for streaming music sources (spotify, xm app). The sound is much more muted with these apps compared to other inputs or even the iphone music app. I still want to make some adjustments ( knowing the lexus aux input sound equalizer can offset or amplify the android box audio gains as well). What settings are you guy using for your perceived "optimal" sound???
Here is my setting:
Volume: -1db
Bass: 4db
Middle: 9db
Treble: 7db
I see that the 7.1 Carplay and Auto version is on sale forUS $517.50. I've never used Ali Express before. Is this a good price or is it just typical retail price with marketing to appear as a good deal?

to give you reference, i paid 585 for the 7.1 carplay w/ the wireless dongle. the wirelsss dongle is like 80-100 bucks? so your pricing is on par or even a little better for what your getting ...than what i paid.
I can't tell if it's sarcasm but if not thanks for the encouragement. Today's the first day I've heard about this and I'm trying my best to catch up. It sounds promising for a company and product I'm not familiar with. I'm quite familiar with knowing exactly what components I'm buying and it's value for computers and smartphones e.g snap dragon, Intel, amd, etc processing chips and arm, Qualcomm, amd, Nvidia, etc. gpu's. This thread peaked my interest in this product since there seems to be responsive support for trouble shooting but it is also somewhat of a blind purchase for me. All I know is it is 6 cores, 3GB ram, 32GB rom and an outdated Android OS. Just trying to get a grasp of what I'm buying before buying since tech moves fast and devalues quickly.
I upgraded to the newest versions of the software and it’s super buggy. It was good prior but now it needs some help and I’m bummed that the visual volume display is gone.
