Hi all, I am looking for a very good license plate frame for my RX 350. Most of the frames i bought went bad after 5-6 months.
Do you have any recommendations? Thanks so much.

 

I bought one on eBay that is chrome and just says LEXUS - seems to be holding up fine after nearly a year.

 

I bought mine from Amazon, stainless and laser etched! Its pricey but I know it will last awhile.

 

I have one from my 1st car in 1976, a green MGB. It reads: ASIAN AMERICAN IMPORTS on bottom and LOS ANGELES on top. My current plate is from the 1970's and it reads TransOcean Motors on the bottom and Pasadena on top. EBAY sells tons of really fascinating plates for <$30, many of them outlast their cars.

Thank you. I bought 2 from ebay as well but they didn't even last a year. The coat peel off and started to be rusted.

 

I've been wanting to put a F-Sport license plate frame on my wife's vehicle and did a quick google search and there are so many.

Does anyone have one that is of HIGH QUALITY that can recommend to pick up?

I'm not sure if I want black or real carbon fiber, probably gloss black would be my first pick.

Recommendations?

 

What is the best plain, minimalist, unobtrusive *rear* license plate frame for a black 2016 Lexus RX 450h for California plates (which have a white background)?

I'm considering stainless steel (brushed / matte or mirror finish) or silicone either in white or black. I'm looking to replace the cheap frame with the name of the dealer on it.

Some options I'm considering are below, but I'm open to other suggestions:

Aujen (Silicone in or ) (Amazon's bestseller)
stainless steel
Weathertech stainless steel

 

Not on an RX, but I've used both of these on a couple of vehicles and like them both



I like the function of the silicone ones but prefer the looks of the metal. If they ever rattle I put a felt or silicone sticky dot behind them on back of the plate / plate frame

 

I like the silicone one. Use one just like it on my white RX. Helps avoid any potential rattles from the plate and the simple look is perfect IMHO.

 

We have these on both of our Lexi - a 2021 RX350 in Moonbeam Beige and a 2021 LC500 in infrared. They look great - unobtrusive and classy.

 

Recommend the basic black silicone ones. In use for almost two years and still looks new.

 

I use an invisible frame for my RX450H. It's "the best plain, minimalist, unobtrusive." And it costs nothing .
