2018 RX350 window vibrate
I had a window rattle,on my 2016 RX. It was the driver side rear passenger door. To replicate the noise, open the door and hit your palm on the top of the door frame above the window. I found that the small triangular plastic piece on the outside of the window would rattle.
That's why in a case like yours, you need to be in the car while they're test driving it and when you notice whatever it is you're looking for, immediately point it out to them. That way, they can't say they didn't hear it.
I thought I had a rattle problem on the passenger side, but it turned out to be from the passenger seat belt.
If the belt has been rotated 180 degrees, the metal tab can hit the door frame.
Solution, reach across and flip it, or threaten any passenger who does that

Hello everyone,
Brought a month old 2019 RX 350 to dealer with both rear windows rattle while driving with windows opened about two inches.
Was told window runs have to be replaced.
Multiple days later received a call from service adviser, saying suspected parts were replaced but it didn't fix the problem.
Adviser also claims, the dealership contacted Lexus Corporate and was told the rattle noise is normal.
Which was supposedly confirmed by inspecting several vehicles on dealer lot.
I m being told, there is nothing else the dealer can do for me at this point until Corporate issues a fix.
Does anyone else experience similar issues? Any suggestions on how to proceed further?
Any help is appreciated.
Thank you

Like ravenuer said having windows partially open at the rear will cause buffeting, that's always the case on cars from my experience. Why do you want to drive around with them open anyway, I like the serene atmosphere of the vehicle without dirt, heat/cold getting in.
Thank you for replying.
None of my other RX vehicles had this rattle-"buffeting" issue when driving with windows propped open. Actually, rattle occurs with front windows open as well.
Recently both front windows have developed a thud sound right before closing completely. Dealer of course couldn't verify my complaint, no surprises there.
Paperwork from service department says exactly what adviser claimed on the phone. So at least it's in writing.
Will try and contact Corporate directly and stop by dealer to test drive other vehicles.
