As Lexus announced availability of Apple Car Play from 2019 models is there any kind of campaign we can start to make it available on older models as these are just software updates they have to install on older models.

thats a nice thought, but it will never happen.

 

Like the Lexus Safety package that 2017 RX got, it was not added to the 2016 model as a S/W update.

"You want the new feature? Get the new model!"

 

They could offer this as a software upgrade for a fee. I would not mind paying $200/$300 to get Car Play...
