I have just recently acquired the 2017 Micro SD map update from Lexus. I am now trying to eject the older SD so that I can replace. I have located the maps SD slot, but I see no way for it to eject. Can any guide me through the process? I have put pressure around the slot, but nothing is happening.

Push the end of the SD card in and it will release.
I figured it out. There is an older card in there, and you have to push in on the card for it to spring out. Insert the new...and the display will guide from there. Takes about 30 minutes - just follow the directions on-screen - and don't turn off the car during install!
what was the price for the upgrade ?? are any upgrades included with the vehicle purchase ?? are the maps updated OTA or something between major updates ??
sorry for the bombardment of questions, and thanks for the time !!

No free updates are included. It is done by SD card. Think they do new ones every year. They are not cheap.
Finding a lot of individual questions but not a total picture. I have a 2016 RX 350 yet the Lexus Nav upgrade sites are all down as of mid Sep. I know I need a micro USB upgrade card. Can anyone provide specific info?
What is my generation number?
Several postings indicate upgrade SD's being paired with the vehicle's VIN. True or False?
Can I buy a micro upgrade SD with confidence (i.e. eBay, online Lexus sources less than $269) with confidence?
I just had my 4RX in for service a few weeks ago and asked them about this. He said it was about $330 (!) to (1) install the new SSD card, and (2) upgrade the navigation software.
Attached is an image of what I think was the last version of the "what to order" page from lexusnavigation.com before it was discontinued. This image was downloaded today from the Internet Archive Wayback Machine website. The image shows the map part numbers (suffix -16) for the 2016 updates. Updates for 2017 should have similar part numbers with suffix "-17", the 2017 map update for the 2016-2017 RX "should be" part number PT219-GEN09-17.
Updates versions are tied to model year and head unit model. A Lexus dealer might want your VIN in order to verify your vehicle's model year.
Don't bother with eBay unless you can verify that you are purchasing from a real Lexus dealer. 99% of the navigation updates on eBay are scams of various types ... older versions and pirated copies.
We don't currently drive Lexus vehicles but our current Sienna and Prius use the same updates as Lexus vehicles for previous model years. I get discounts on our updates through the Costco Auto Program. I'm going to update the Sienna navigation again shortly - $143.65. The update for the Prius earlier this year (same as for the 2013-2015 Lexus RX) was about $185 for the activation card and the labor to install it.
