Exclamation Help with rim sizing

Does anyone know what the max rim width and offset that would fit on the 4th gen RX? Initially I though the factory option of 20x8.5 ET30 seemed pretty weak but after looking at the tire/ fender, it seems it's semi flush. I would think you can play with the offsets only by so much. It also appears that a wider rim may touch the rear spring carrier if the offsets arent high enough.

Can individuals with aftermarket wheels chime in please? I was thinking of a 20x9 ET30 since I want to put a bigger tire on the car. Thx!

I think the factory RX 20" wheels are 20x8 ET30. You will have no problems front or rear with a 20x9 ET30

There is also a 22" wheel thread that gives you some ideas if you consider 22" ??

I use this tool to find out what works and where the wheel and tire sit...just type in your specs....
